Is the first season of NBC’s Perfect Harmony TV show hitting all the right notes? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Perfect Harmony is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. An NBC single-camera comedy series, Perfect Harmony stars Bradley Whitford, Anna Camp, Will Greenberg, Tymberlee Hill, Geno Segers, Rizwan Manji, and Spencer Allport. Arthur Cochran (Whitford) is a former Princeton music professor who unexpectedly stumbles into a small-town church’s choir practice. Arthur finds a group of singers that are out of tune in more ways than one. Despite a major clash of sensibilities, Arthur and his newfound cohorts may just be the perfect mix of individuals to help each other reinvent and rediscover a little happiness — just when they all need it most. Townspeople include Ginny (Camp), Wayne (Greenberg), Adams (Hill), Dwayne (Segers), Reverend Jax (Manji), and young Cash (Allport).

This is a very funny show. The whole cast is a great one. Don’t cancel it.
Comedy with an edge to it. I need to “rewind” sometimes to catch everything that was said, because the dialogue is clever and quick–sometimes too quick for me. It’s a good program with an interesting mix of characters. Been missing it lately and hope it isn’t being cancelled!
Love this show, one of the few that everyone in the family will watch, and every one has been caught singing later… Perfect cast! Everyone in the family has picked their favorite. I really hope and pray NBC renews this show! It deserves to come back!

I have really enjoyed this show. It is light-hearted and fun. I always feel a bit happier after each episode. My only wish is that if it gets a season 2, that they do much more singing. They have such beautiful voices & the blend beautifully. Please give this a season 2!

I pretty match can’t stand sitcoms filmed in front of live audience or with a laugh track (or anything Chuck Lorre does) . I generally find more humor in so called dramedy shows or movies ( Endgame or Elementary for example) But this is a different , well written occasionally serious or poignant with fast biting humor. Not waiting for the rimshot telling the audience it’s time to laugh. Kind if reminds me of My Name is Earl. Especially funny bit is the dude whose parents changed the name of TV shows, the one about Burt and Ernie had me… Read more »
