Sorry Reckless fans, there won’t be a second season of the steamy summer legal drama. CBS has cancelled the series after one season of 13 episodes.
Reckless revolves around a beautiful litigator from the north and a charming southern attorney who must hide their intense mutual attraction as a police sex scandal erupts in Charleston, South Carolina. The TV show’s cast includes Cam Gigandet, Anna Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Georgina Haig, Adam Rodríguez, Michael Gladis, Kim Wayans, and Gregory Harrison.
The series debuted in late June to just a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.99 million total viewers. The numbers didn’t get much better over the course of the season and ended up averaging just a 0.6 demo rating with 3.91 million viewers. The network burned off the final episodes on a Saturday night.

I DEMAND RECKLESS BE BROUGHT BACK.. I’m a person that don’t watch TV. I happen to stumble on this series while serfing NetFlix for a movie. I was not aware that TV had such a good show. I had given up on TV CBS and with that saying I’m sure I’m not the only one… So pleasssse bring RECKLESS back
I never heard of this show until it became available on Netflix!! The show is amazing I am so let down there won’t be a season two. Cancelling a show implies that the show has a low following and low reviews, but how could it not? The first time I heard about it was online on Netflix as a suggested choice. This should only mean that the show was not properly advertised! Bring it back and give it some exposure!
This show is ABSALUTLEY amazing, I wish there where more. Really enjoyed the secret chemistry between Jamie and Roy.

It is very important that CBS bring back Reckless. This show was awesome. Where is a petition? what do we need to do to get a season 2? I mean really who do we need to contact to fight this decision to cancel Reckless!? I mean it could have just been a bad time slot.

Me too! I didn’t know about this show until I watched it on Netflixx. Truly in love withthis show. So much better than Scandal…. please bring season 2!!!!!!!!!! Come On CBS! I loved the southern accent and Arliss and esp Terry!!
I loved this series and am very disappointed that there will not be a second season. We found it on Netflix and watched the whole thing in a record time, only to find out that there is NO MORE!!!

I just finished season 1 on Netflix. And was wondering when season 2 was going to come. Then I find out they canceled it. Now I don’t know who shot Dec and I’m going to have to live with this suspense.
Honestly I think it was an awesome show. The chemistry between Jamie and Roy was mystifying, tantalizing, provocative; which creates a deep sense of intense arousal in the audience. That type of chemistry is rare amongst actors; and its presence creates this deep illusion of ‘What If’. It saddens me that it was cancelled. Not many people know of this show. After seeing, I asked around at work, and everyone looked at me like I had ten heads. I say give it another chance, and this time, advertise better; you’d be surprised at the outcome. Just another season, please.
