As expected, there was a good amount of drop off between weeks one and two. Episode two drew a 2.7 rating in the demo with 8.54 million, a loss of 18%. Hopefully this will be the end of the erosion but my gut is that it isn’t. CSI easily won the timeslot this time around.
Season average: 3.0 demo with 9.28 million.
Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/21/11
It was a positive debut for Revenge with a 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.02 million viewers. That was good enough for the drama to win its timeslot. One the downside however, the series lost a lot of viewers between the start and finish of the hour. It went from a 3.8 in the demo (thanks to Modern Family) and ended with a 3.0. That’s a sign that those people who switched it off mid-way won’t be back next week.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Please don’t cancel….
love the show….can’t wait for Wednesday night
I watched first episode and was not impressed. It seems like Harper’s Island over again. Not interesting and I’m sure they would suspect her of these deaths. Lame.
What deaths would they suspect her of?
There are no deaths….I think you have the wrong show…
This new show is very good and well written. Please keep it on air. It needs time for viewers to check it out. Once they see it, they will be hooked like me.
An intriguing show. Even my spouse who doesn’t stay up after 10, stays up for this one. I enjoy where everyone is getting in the act or having it done to them. Makes the ending we saw in Episode 1 more appealing to see how it works out.
Nice that the fourth episode rebounded in the demo. I like the show, but think it would be a better mini-series instead of them trying to make it a regular series. How long can you really go on with the revenge theme before it starts to drag.
love the show – please renew it.
Love this show it is the best new fall show yet, so look forward to Wed, nights at 10:00. You go Amanda (Emily)!!!
Love REVENGE!!! Please don’t Cx…..
Please keep it!
