The adventures of The Musketeers will continue. Though BBC has cancelled Atlantis and In the Flesh, the broadcaster has decided to renew The Musketeers for a third season. The program airs on BBC America in the United States. Three episodes of the second season have aired on Saturday nights so far.
Director Andy Hay broke the news this weekend on Twitter, saying that season three will begin filming in the Czech Republic in April.
BBC followed that up with an official announcement: “The Musketeers has delighted audiences at home and around the world and we’re thrilled that we’ve been able to financially support bringing a third series to the BBC, with improved value for the licence fee payer.”

This is one of the BEST adventure series ever, both my husband, mum & I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE every episode, it is so exciting & one could never believe how it gets better & better, every week & all of us cannot wait for the next, only sad thing is that series two comes to an end next week. Thank goodness though just found out that there is going to be a series three BUT BBC come on this deserves prime viewing time!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show!!! I am a loyal fan and am so glad it is being renewed for another season! The cast is amazing and the writers pull you in to each episode! Can’t wait for season finale, and the only thing that keeps me is knowing season 3 is coming!

I’m so glad that Musketeers has been renewed for another Season. It is one of the most entertaining and fast moving shows of BBC. It can be ranked in the same category as Downton Abbey. I hope BBC will continue Musketeers for many more seasons.

I LOVE The Musketeers! I am SO EXCITED that it was picked up for a third season!!!!!!! The Count and Malady will get their up and comings, just be patient. The writers make things seem so bad to keep you hooked and waiting to see the episodes where they get their just desserts!
If I was only able to see one TV show out of all of those out there, it would be The Musketeers, hands down!!!!! I look forward to a fourth season as well!!!!!!!!!
