What’s This TV Show About?
A Netflix sci-fi mystery, The OA stars Brit Marling, Emory Cohen, Scott Wilson, Phyllis Smith, Alice Krige, Patrick Gibson, Brendan Meyer, Brandon Perea, Ian Alexander, and Jason Isaacs. The story centers on Prairie Johnson (Marling), an adopted young woman who is blind when she goes missing, but returns years later, with her vision restored. Although she won’t reveal what happened to her family and law enforcement, she now refers to herself as “The OA.” She assembles a team, tells them her tale, and says there are others they need to help. In the second season, OA navigates a new dimension, in which she had a completely different life as a Russian heiress.

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew The OA for season three. Bring it back! It is awesome and different from all other shows! Tired of remakes of other shows. The OA is great!
This totally sucks. Everyone I ever start talking about movies I recomend the OA and everyone I know who watch it they get addicted. I have seen OA twice. And been waiting everyday for the third season. Where do we sign for it to become true?

What the heck!? But EVERYTHING WILL BE LEFT UP IN THE AIR! I hate investing so much time watching something, only to have it canceled before there is any sort of ending or closure to the storyline! Not impressed Netflix, actually I’m now seriously considering on giving you the ‘flick’ Netflix!
Me too. I think I am canceling Netflix. And everyone I know will be doing the same.
I am extremely disappointed with Netflix at this point. Almost 50% of the shows I get immersed in are cancelled after a cliffhanger. I am starting to check older series before I start watching to ensure they will not be cancelled without notice. If so, I just pass them up and turn to a different provider. I think I might have to give up my Netflix subscription completely. At least regular network channels try to have a “last season” where they wrap up the shows and leave the viewer sad but with a sense of closure. Shame on you Netflix… Read more »

I think it would be detrimental to the show if they didn’t carry on with another season of OA! The ending when Eric jumps in the ambulance and confronts the Dr. seems like the beginning not an ending! I say bring more Seasons On and quickly cuz I’m hanging!

Oh my goodness! I loooove this! Each episode had me on edge. I love getting lost in OA and each episode! I have been thinking for days about the interwoven themes! I love the way it makes me pause and wonder about my own “reality” and how I absolutely enjoy losing my reality for each episode! Love it!! Can’t wait for more!!!
