What’s This TV Show About?
A CBS limited series, The Red Line stars Noah Wyle, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Noel Fisher, Howard Charles, Aliyah Royale, Michael Patrick Thornton, Vinny Chhibber, Corey Reynolds, and Elizabeth Laidlaw. The drama centers on three separate Chicago families forever changed by the shooting of an unarmed African American doctor, by a white police officer. As it delves into life in three distinct neighborhoods, the series explores how our circumstances affect our experience.
Season One Ratings

Telly’s Take
The ratings are terrible so I’m sure there won’t be a second season. The series is billed as a “limited series” which is supposed to indicate that a season has a pre-determined number of episodes but could have multiple seasons (versus a mini-series which is one season and completely close-ended). If the ratings were stronger, perhaps the network would make a second season with a different story and/or cast (ala FX’s American Horror Story or ABC’s American Crime). 6/7/19 update: It’s been confiirmed that there won’t be a second season for The Red Line TV show on CBS.

It was one of the best shows on tv, I am shocked that it was cancelled
I have really enjoyed Red Line. The acting is excellent. I had forgotten what a good actor Noah Wiley is. Aliyah Royale is great. I’m hoping maybe Netflix will pick it up.

Please renew the red line it was a great show and needs a second season to continue the story. I watched every episode of season 1 and will watch season 2 if renewed.

Please renew The Red Line.. This show is an eye-opening take on issues that people need to see. The writers have done such an awesome job bringing current topics to life, it could almost be considered a reality show!
I love the Redline!!!
I love red line it deals with real life issues that may not be what everyone wants to see. But, it’s important to tell certain stories maybe some people aren’t ready for in your face TRUTH! but it’s IMPORTANT and very NECESSARY ! I hope they renew for season 2 I’d love to see what becomes of these characters!
I don’t like the Redline saw one 2 hr show and that was enough I’m tired of politics armed down my throat for to political correctness
I like this show. The acting has been great and it deals with timely subject matter in an interesting and thought-provoking manner.
