The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I just finished season 1 of “The tomorrow people” on Netflix and I was searching up to figure out if there was a season 2 and I was so sad that you guys aren’t making Season. But I think there would be hella views from Netflix and the older views. So you guys should get on that!

This show totally deserves a second season! I watched it all, every episode, on Netflix simply because me and my family don’t have satellite or cable tv, and I loved every second of it. Please please please continue the series. It was well made, really good cgi and had an incredible plot line. Please don’t let this great idea die.
Please bring back the Tomorrow People. The season has struck a deep passion i have for my interests. One i have never know about till today. I have watched this show on Netflix for three days now and im already finished with season one. By far this is the brst show ive seen, even blowing the Walking Dead and Marvels Agents of shield out of the water. My mother says she’s never seen me so interested in a show like this before. I love love love the show!! Me and my 12 year old sister are watching it on Netflix and she LOVES it too! It was a mistake for them to cancel it, I think it is such a great show and perfect for all ages!!!

wow just wow i watched the 1st season on netflix, and I LOVED it. but now it’s canceled. just cause of a rating., this is why the CW is going to regret it later and realize that that was a huge mistake. It’s like when a good show is aired they cancel the 2nd season they never give them a chance. BTW the only reason i watched it cause of luke mitchell.

The CW, like the SyFy channel, is a joke. You come out with these shows that are seriously great. Then you can them after 1 season because of ratings. You don’t even give it a chance. Seriously? Look at the great SyFy shoes that made it, look at their ratings in the beginning. They were bad too. But look at shows like Dr Who now! I just watched season 1 on Netflix and LOVED it, only to find out it as cancelled. I don’t watch TV during regular times because I’m too busy so I TV to catch up with things on Netflix. Very sad they just canceled it like that without taking some kind of poll. This is why I hate getting into shows on the CW. They cancel everything good, just like Nikita.

I absolutely love the series. How could they end it like that. I watched the finale when it was aired and I’m still courious about how the second season would have turned out if it wasn’t cancelled. Grrrr. Courisity kills. Bring it back please!
