The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I can’t believe that they cancelled it that was a great show I was really interested in it. I started watching it on Netflix and fell in love with it. I couldn’t stop watching it! I really wish there could of been another but I guess that won’t be happening.( really wish it could go on). CW you made a really bad mistake!!

I’m so disappointing that such a great show was cancelled! I’ve been obsessed for weeks watching it on Netflix, only to find out that I wasted my time. Please bring it back!!
I really liked the show at first but the writing got a little lame for a while, but started getting better towards the end of the season. It really was the ONLY good show the CW had to offer since the days of smallville. CW will probably do something dumb like air a show about the kardasian family. Everyone else seems to be worshipping their boring lives. CW you really are getting more lame through the years. 760,000 viewers low is probably higher than other shows highs.

Cancelling season 2 was a stupid move. I am NOT watching the cw and I have told everyone I know to not watch it either. Another great show cancelled. You really know how to f**k everythinh up

I didn’t know about the show when it first came out, but as soon as I saw it, I was completely hooked. I’m so disappointed there isn’t more and I do strongly believe there should be!!!!

I can’t believe your not making another season of tomorrow people. I’m done watching cw until this is fixed. All my friends all done and I’m getting everyone to stop cw watching until another season is made. Great series, but I can get at least 500,000 I won’t reveal who I am, but ratings will stall…. Watch ratings over the next 6 months, you’ll see.

How sad I didn’t know this information up until today, I had been waiting for season two of The Timorrow People to come out. And I really liked StarCrossed as well. That’s to bad I would have really liked to see how Season two would have turned out. I found it very interesting and exciting. Well I’m sorry the ratings didn’t work out, I wish people could have been more interested in the show as I was.
