The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I watched on Netflix as well and absolutely want to see more! I never even knew about it when it was on the air! BRING BACK SEASON 2
I think it is terrible that the CW is not going to give the 1.26 million people a chance to see the second season. This was a great show and I was looking forward to many more seasons to come.

Many of the viewers don’t have cable so I’ve seen the whole season of it on netflix have they ever considered the possibilities of how many viewers have seen it on that or any other tv service now not knowing there won’t be a second season I have come to the conclusion that if your going to out an amazing show for us viewers to watch do not cancel it because it makes us hate the people who do so to destroy what we love
Who ever thought it was a good idea to cancel the tomorrow was clearly not in the right state of mind because the tomorrow people was a great show a show I was looking forward to watch countless seasons of it was such a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT when I found out that one of my new favorite shows was cancelled because it left so much of a opening for another great season and so what if it hit only 770,000 views it was still a great show now for star cross ehhh…. This show was great! Needed better advertising and marketing as I didn’t even know about it until I watched it on netflix and now I want more! Anything we can do to petition for it to come back?
Give us more. Started on netflix and couldn’t stop. We want season 2.
Terrrrrrrible decision. Supernatural gets a season 10 and this gets chopped after one season. CW get real. Supernatural jumped the shark after swan song and you’ve stretched 5+ seasons since.
Give this one a shot. Try running it on tnt. It jumped winchesters into the limelight. Hell tnt morning programing does more for cw primetime than cw primetime does for itself.
Bring back the tomorrow people for a second season. I watched it on netflix and it was a really good show. Not everyone has time to watch it on tv and thats why the ratings were so low but the ratings on netflix have to be good.
They will keep renewing stupid shows like Honey Boo Boo, but a great sci-fi show get cancelled…firefly, tomorrow people, almost human, and on and on.
The Tomorrow people should not have been cancelled.. It was awesome!!! It needs to come back…
I thought the show was great and it should go back on you got some writers don’t have enough inept information about the future to look for some other people then get your act together
