Paramount Network (formerly Spike TV) hasn’t had the smoothest start. It ultimately cancelled the Heathers TV series adaptation prior to airing, because of the school violence storyline. Fans ignored the second season of Nobodies when it moved over, so it went back to TV Land. Now, in addition to American Woman, they’ve introduced the Yellowstone TV show? Can this modern-day western lasso enough viewers for the re-branded cable network to make its mark on the Nielsen ratings? Will Yellowstone be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A Paramount Network family drama, from creators John Linson and Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, Kelsey Asbille, Dave Annable, Brecken Merrill, Ian Bohen, Jefferson White Danny Huston, Josh Lucas, Gretchen Mol, Jill Hennessey, Patrick St. Esprit, Heather Hemmons, Denim Richards, and Michael Nouri. The story centers on the Duttons, a family of powerful and prosperous cattle ranchers. It chronicles their shifting alliances, as well as their old grudges, and even unsolved murders.
