The cast and crew of Private Practice are finishing shooting the last episode of the medical drama.
Today, executive producer Shonda Rhimes tweeted this behind-the-scenes photo and wrote, “Shooting the last @PrivatePractice scene you will ever see. Thank you tweeples for joining us 111 times…”
Earlier, she wrote, “Last day of @PrivatePractice and we are about to shoot the final scene of the series finale. Sniff, sniff…”
Paul Adelstein joked, “Last day of PP… No more being made pretty and having nice men bring me coffee #PrivatePractice #SpoiledRotten”
Amy Brenneman quickly responded, “I’ll bring you coffee @adelsteinPaul. Every day.”
Caterina Scorsone noted yesterday, “Abby Singer day on Private Practice. #weird”
Audra McDonald tweeted, “Wow. Last day at PP. Wow.”
Yesterday, Kate Walsh wrote, “Final days with my PPP family. Emotional roller coaster.”
A couple hours ago, she tweeted the photo at right and wrote, “Turning in my scrubs today! After nearly a decade of Addison. Absolutely crazy.”

I’m very sad to see you guys go but, i’m also happy. My Favorite character in Private Practice would Have to be Addison. See Ya Later
I almost did not watch the show this season and I’ve been watching since the very beginning. There were some things about the show that I was getting tired of. It’s a good thing that it will have a proper ending. I prefer that to having a show canceled without notice.
We all have differing opinions, which is good for TV . . . but I enjoyed Private Practice much better than Grey’s Anatomy. In fact, I quit watching Anatomy over a year ago. So to everyone involved with Private Practice, thank you for giving us such a good show to watch.
I’ll be sad to see Private Practice go, I’ve watched all 106 Episodes so far and never got bored of it. I look forward to what will happen during the final 5 but not looking forward to the end.
I love this show. I like this show better than Grey’s Anatomy. I can’t believe it’s going off the air. Why is it going off the air? I just said the other night if they kill her off and leave him with the babies I’m never watching it again. I can’t believe they killed Violet’s husband off. I was mad about that. The whole show was starting to come together. bummer.
