TV show description:
This reality TV series stars Cleveland Cavaliers basketball star Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal. The show is co-anchored by UFC play-by-play announcer Mike Goldbert and WGN-TV sports anchor Pat Tomasulo.
With Shaq claiming to be the “greatest athlete,” he takes on a different competitor in each show. He battles against the tops in a particular field and challenges them to a match in skills. Each episode includes preliminary challenges, news conference banter, interaction between the athletes and kids, and a handicap being negotiated between Shaq and the other star sports competitor.
Shaq’s challenges include taking on football star Ben Roethlisberger in a 7-on-7 quarterback challenge; partnering with Olympic Gold Medalist Todd Rogers to challenge Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh to a game of beach volleyball; playing in a home run derby against St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols; fighting boxing champ Oscar de la Hoya in a five round fight; and swimming against Olympic gold medal winner Michael Phelps.
