TV show description:
Built by a highly-evolved race called Ancients, a network of alien portals called Stargates make it possible to travel almost instantly to distant parts of the galaxy.
After an incursion by a parasitic alien race, the SG-1 team is formed by Stargate Command. SG-1 members include Colonel Jack O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson), archaeologist Dr. Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks), geeky Captain Samantha “Sam” Carter (Amanda Tapping), tough Teal’c (Christopher Judge), archaeologist Jonas Quinn (Corin Nemec), Lieutenant Colonel Cameron “Shaft” Mitchell (Ben Browder), and Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black).
They are assigned Major Generals like George S. Hammond (Don S. Davis) and Hank Landry (Beau Bridges) to explore the galaxy and defend Earth from dangerous alien invaders like the Replicators and the Ori.

I happen to love Stargate sg1 and I am 12 turning 13. My dad bought all of the Stargate sg1 episodes and all of the movies that include Amanda Tapping & Christopher Judge.
