ABC is trying to attract big ratings this summer with their own version of Big Brother, The Glass House. The first season of The Glass House typically airs Monday nights on the ABC network. There are 10 episodes.

After all of the legal hullabaloo with CBS over this show, it wasn’t an impressive start for the new reality series. It was in last place at 10pm (behind a Big Bang Theory rerun) and in second place at 10:30pm. Year-to-year, compared to the fourth episode of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, the network was down by 25% in the demo (vs a 2.0) and 30% in viewership (vs 5.72 million).
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Please put this back on. I watched BB for the first time and I don’t know why it takes 3 night for this show I thought it was stupid. Please bring Glass House back.

I like bb, but I absolutely loved the gh. Please consider putting it back on. Theres no reason why both shows can’t be on. People didn’t give gh a chance because they thought they were being disloyal to bb.
Im a avid BB fan and will always be, but it’s ridiculous to be so closed minded as to not enjoy another show of its nature. To prance around the comment boards and piss and moan about how it’s not as exciting or is trash, is immature nonsense. The premise was totally fresh and different from BB. People don’t like change and new shows go through growing pains. The entertainment value is more light hearted than the extreme backstabbing and lying seen on BB. It’s a lot less trashy than the gamut of dating shows on the air. I believe there is room for both shows and think ABC should give it some time to get going. Here’s to hoping for season 2
its not that i LOVE bb or w/e and shouldn’t ‘cheat’ on it, TGH just SUCKED!!! For being produced by former BB producers, it was a joke of a show, the whole voting aspect was POINTLESS!!!! it will NOT be picked up for another season!
