Inspired by the novel by Melissa de la Cruz, this supernatural drama revolves around the mysterious Beauchamps, a family of witches who live in the secluded seaside town of East Haven.

Joanna Beauchamp (Julia Ormond) is a free-spirited artist who has two grown daughters; wild-child bartender Freya (Jenna Dewan Tatum) and shy librarian Ingrid (Rachel Boston). Both of the offspring are unaware that they are gifted (or cursed) with a magical birthright.

Freya has recently become engaged to the man of her dreams — wealthy playboy named Dash Gardiner (Eric Winter). When she finds herself inexplicably drawn to Dash’s troubled and enigmatic brother, Killian (Daniel DiTomasso), bizarre occurrences begin to manifest in her life.

Quiet Ingrid has a love interest of her own, Adam (Jason Winston George), as well as a best friend named Hudson (Tom Lenk).

All is trown into turmoil when Joanna’s long-estranged and mischievous sister, Wendy (Mädchen Amick), shows up with a warning about a threat that could seriously impact the family’s future. This information forces Joanna to tell her daughters the truth, that they are immortal witches who possess great untapped powers.

With their idyllic small-town life turned upside down, and an ancient and formidable enemy intent on ending the Beauchamp family line, Freya and Ingrid must accept their true potential before it’s too late.

I think Witches Of The East End should be renewed because I think they just left us hanging in the last episode of season two.

So bummed the show is cancelled . Saw an advertisement a couple of months ago in the TV guide announcing the starting date. Have been searching for it daily. With all the other junk that’s on tv, this show was a real treat to watch. Loved the story line and all the characters. They should really think about bringing it back.

Witches of east end was a great show!!!! I just don’t understand why they do this. Bad judgment call. Then they leave u hanging with no resolve. At least end the show with a proper ending. I’m extremely sad they cancelled it. I was a devoted fan of the show…so sad.

This is one show that I was truly sorry to see cancelled. There is so much trash on TV nowadays, but this one was a joy to watch. I loved the actors as well as the storyline. When I first watched it I was totally hooked! Even as far as talking to other fans on Facebook. Which by the way was devastated when it was cancelled. I literally screamed, “NO”. Wish you would really think about bringing this one back!!!!
