My wife and I enjoy watching Army Wives every Sunday night. Please keep the show on the air next season plus other seasons to come. It is the BEST show on TV. It is so real
to the current happening in the Military. KEEP ARMY WIVES ON THE AIR!!!!!!!!!!
tHANK YOU
Please do not cancel one of my favorite shows!!! Love it and have watched every show since the begining
Love this show and want it to continue. Cast cahnges can be understood, only I dont understand where Kim Delney is?
Please don’t cancel Army Wives. I look forward to it each Sunday night and am sad when it closes for the season. When it said last night that only 3 shows to the finale I couldn’t believe my ears and started hunting to see if I had heard right. I think they have a lot of tying up to do of loose ends. I hope we are all wrong and it is coming back. P.S. I am glad to see that I am not the only one who is devastated by the cancellation of Harry’s Law. At first my daughter… Read more »
There are so few shows worth watching these days, mostly reality TV. It is sad when such a favorite of many is cancelled. The stories and characters are heart touching and it is worth continuing.
[…] the sixth season of Army Wives is winding down, last night’s preview hinted that the TV series’ finale […]
Army Wives is the type of show you can really get into and feel for the characters. I started watching Army Wives with my sons girlfriend during season one while my son was deployed in Iraq. He has since come home, but we are hooked on the show. I can’t remember another show that has gotten me so emotional as this one does. I look forward to many, many more seasons with the families on Army Wives.
I absolutely love this show and look forward to it every Sunday night. I have not missed one episode and have everyone that I can tell about it also watching it. What does age have to with it or any other show. Most people DVR the shows anyway as I do with every show and never watch any of the commercials!!!!!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joanne
Sure hope this show is renewed. However, this seaspn’s story line seems to be winding down the series. Hope that’s not the case though.
Please don’t cancel Army Wives. I have been watching since the first season and have bought every season on DVD. This is the only series that I Dvr every Sunday and I really look forward to watching it – too good to be canceled. !!!
You have no idea how much my husband and I look forward to Sunday nights. We know that Army Wives is on. Being retired military, there are so many similarity’s that we see in the show that are like actual military life. To lose the show would be a loss that a lot of military people would be at a loss over. PLEASE at least let it go a few more seasons and if you must take it off, don’t leave everyone hanging. I say start a show with Pamela and Roxy and their family’s trying to live outside of… Read more »
Army Wives is the best TV show on Sunday nights. Please add seasons 7,8,9,10 and many more. You always have true to life episodes which gives us the true since of our Armed Forces. A very fine show with the best cast and crew. Please keep this show coming for years to come.
Thank you
Army wives is one of the best shows on tv. The families show the real problems and happiness that goes with being in the army. They’ve shown the loss, the departures and the happy reunions of what goes on in army life. Please renew this show. The actors have become a part of all of us that enjoy the show. My dad was in WW II. My mom told stories of how she left on a train to meet him in California with a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a three week old. When she boarded the… Read more »
I really enjoy this show. But this article is mistaken. Ratings mean nothing like they used to. They have cancelled 2 shows in the last few years that I absolutely loved (The Unit and Harry’s Law). It wasn’t because the ratings were bad. The networks said they cancelled it because they were not getting the age group they wanted with these shows.
So to me, this article means nothing. I hope they continue to keep Army Wives on the air.
Shellbug » The ratings absolutely matter and measure many things, most pertinently how many people watch and the age groups. On network television, it’s all about the 18-49 demo. On cable, large volumes of viewers are harder to attract. The demo is still important but total viewership is taken more into account. Feel free to disregard this response as well. 🙂
See now that age group is just wrong.. you act like there are no other people who watch the shows except for those ages and you are SOOOO VERY WRONG with that conception. My husband and I are in our 60’s and we watched a lot of the shows that are being canceled. You need to change your age demo because if you go by that, most of that age group are out partying anyway.. so you don’t really care about the shows for the people, just how much money you will make off it….
Peggy » I think you mean to direct this comment to the advertisers and Lifetime.
I agree that the ratings should count; after all, if no one is watching a show, why keep it on?? I love AW and it is getting pretty good ratings from what I’ve read; but when you start talking demographics, it infuriates me!!!!!! What 19-year old is going to watch AW????? And, what 19-year old is going to buy the products??????? Do you think that people over 49 don’t shop; don’t buy products???? I lost Harry’s Law due to demographics and I am not watching NBC anymore because they cancelled one of the best shows on TV!!! So, now the… Read more »
Consider it disregarded 🙂
