The peacock network continues to struggle in the ratings. As a result, their schedule has the most changes and it’s sometimes hard to keep track of your favorite NBC TV shows. Have they been cancelled or renewed? Below is a list of all of the regular NBC series that have aired during the 2010-11 season (roughly June 30, 2010 – May 31, 2011).
Using this list you can tell where your favorite NBC series stand, particularly if they’ve been cancelled or renewed. If you can’t find a particular NBC program on this list, it may have been cancelled last season (2009-10) or perhaps the one before (2008-09).
For a list of cancelled shows from all networks, you can go here. It may also be possible that we missed something so feel free to let us know in the comments below.
NOTE: This page is no longer being updated. You can find newer versions here.
Note: Friends with Benefits, Love Bites, and It’s Worth What? were previously on this list but have been removed because they were held until the 2011-12 season.
Here’s the press release for NBC’s new 2011-12 season schedule.
Here are listings for the other networks: ABC | CBS | The CW | FOX
What do you think? Were you surprised about which NBC TV shows were cancelled or renewed?

I am furious that Detroit 187 has been cancelled. What is wrong with NBC? It was a good show. I watched every episode. No wonder I seem to be watching more programs on cable that the big networks. Also my daughter is upset about Persons Unknown. You guys don’t know when you have a good program. Keep putting on the garbage you are and you will not only be last in standings behind ABC,CBS, and Fox but also behind cable stations as well.
HOW COULD YOU CANCEL OUTSOURCED???????????? It was the funniest show my family has seen in years. My family and I watched it every week. We range in age from 65 to 11. It was a very good show. I love Bollywood movies and I also liked the movie “Outsourced”. Shame on you for taking this very enjoyable show from us.
Sad to see Outsourced go. Yes it might have been un “PC” but it was funny and poked just as much fun about American misconceptions. I will still tune in to watch the Office but now theyve lost me on Thursday nights, the only night I actually stayed with a network.
I am thinking the writers knew it was heading for the axe as at least I am thankful that the storylines kind of finished without any cliffhangers – so rare to see these days where shows are cancelled without the chance to have loose ends tied up.
Schedules made up by 3rd grader. anything that makes sense gets taken off. must be part of Obama and crew as they act like third graders.
Sad that people have to bring their politics into everything.
What is the point of putting the show’s on if you are only going to cancell them. A lot of people don’t get to watch them when they are on. I DVR them to watch when I get home from work. Just because we can’t watch them right way doen’t mean we don’t like them. And who are these people who decide this ???? I want to know.
There are some surprises. $&!t mad says was funny! The Event was good if you saw them all. Chase, breaking in, Detroit 187, & Chicago code were all sound entertainment. I’ll never understand why something decent comes around and it cancelled but the same ‘ol same ‘ol predictable shows get renewed every time….. It took this long to release info on Hawaii five-O and they still can’t say one way or another on NCIS : LA . I hope they don’t blow iron that one or my whole last season of new shows to watch is a bust! Networks: PLEASE… Read more »
I am about finished with NBC. “Outsourced” and “The Paul Reiser Show” were good, funny shows. To only give Reiser 2 episodes after he and Helen Hunt gave NBC “Mad About You” is a sad commentary on corporate loyalty. Not surprising after the Conan fiasco, though. And yet, tripe like Celebrity Apprentice gets a 12th season. NBC’s death spiral continues.
Time to cancel NBC. I only have 1 show left that I watch on this lousy network. The others have all been cancelled without even them giving them an honest chance. This network is already the worst of them all but the continue to go downhill instead of improving. Chase by far one of the best shows on TV yet NBC can’t deal with the possibility of success so screw arround withit until you’ve killed it. Out Source is one of the best comedies on TV but of course lets not give it a chance. I have alreaddy refused to… Read more »
CAN’T BELIEVE THEY’RE CANCELLING THE EVENT!!!!
I agree!! It’s the only show I watch on NBC and I love it!! Now I have no reason to watch NBC at all. And their Fall Line-up looks like crap!!
The only two shows I watched on NBC were Chase and Law & Order SVU. I guess I’ll only be watching SVU. What a shame they canceled Chase and decided to renew such inferior programming!
I love the show Chase I can not believe it was canceled but then again there is NBC canceling all the good shows and leaving the crap shows on. Who really wants to watch Minute to Win it especially a whole hours worth of it. I agree with most people I will not be watching any shows on NBC. Good luck with those rating problems you guys are going to need it.
i do think law and order la should be candel i love watch it
I feel that Chase should not be cancelled. I LOVE the show. And I agree the advertising for NBC show’s suck! NBC seems to cancel decent shows left and right and although many of us have real lives we do watch these shows online. I was disappointed when Mercy was cancelled as well and Law & Order: LA. The only show left on NBC that I may or may not watch is Law & Order: SVU but besides that one show I will no longer watch NBC shows. You are trying to get ratings up but yet you don’t take… Read more »

I love Chase and Detroit 1-8-7. You, NBC, are just picking the wrong time slots and not giving a chance. I TIVO both these shows to make sure I get them in case of not being home in time. This last show you showed last night you left off the first 15 minutes of it which really ticks a fan off. You could have least showed the entire show and left out the commercial. Talk about being cheap. Detroit 1-8-7 was really getting good with the little boy playing match maker with his Dad when he came to visit. I… Read more »
