Code Black finished it second season last month, but CBS has still not announced if it will return for another season or not. What do you think? Would you watch a third season of the TV series?
A medical drama, Code Black takes place in a Los Angeles ER plagued by a staggering influx of patients that often outweighs the limited resources available to the devoted doctors and nurses who work there. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Rob Lowe, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Harry Ford, Luis Guzman, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Boris Kodjoe, and Jillian Murray.
Despite the addition of Rob Lowe to the cast, season two of Code Black dipped in the ratings. The season averaged a 0.97 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 5.984 million viewers, placing it in the bottom half of CBS‘ 2016-2017 series. For comparison, season one averaged a 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.11 million viewers.

I’m a believer in advocating for something you love. Code Black is something worthy of another season. The story lines are compelling and the acting authentic. Please bring it back for season three and give them an entire season! 24 episodes!

There has NEVER, been a hospital drama series like Code Black. It’s like ER on speed. The actors have developed excellent characters. I was a huge fan of ER. This show makes Chicago MED, and Greys Anatomy boring.
I have Facebooked all of my friends and told them about the show. Suggested they watch the documentary first. Please don’t take this show off. I know by word of mouth alone would keep it going for many seasons!

I like everything about this series. The medical situations are interesting and believable, the characters different and likeable, and the actors are great. Would be very disappointed if we didn’t get another season.
