Will good prevail in the first season of the Evil TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Evil is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Evil here. *Status update below.
A CBS supernatural thriller series, Evil stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dalya Knapp. A forensic psychologist, Kristen Bouchard accepts a job offer from David Acosta (Colter), a former adventure-seeking journalist. He’s now studying to be a Catholic priest and has been tasked by the Church to assess unexplained phenomena. Acosta also recruits Ben Shakir (Mandvi), an even-tempered realist with carpentry skills. He uses those abilities to uncover practical rationales behind “hauntings.” Kristen is certain that science can provide answers to every incident that the trio encounters — until she meets Leland Townsend (Emerson). He’s a sinister man who oozes menace and threatens Kristen and her four young daughters (Shuck, Gray, Crocco, and Knapp). Undeterred, Kristen, David, and Ben set out to assess inexplicable events to see if there’s a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.

I enjoyed “EVIL!” I do not like having to wait 8 months for the next season top begin! The networks is the are offering short seasons, or more accurately, forcing them upon us! This show and others usually have 13 episodes spread out over 5 and a half months! This is absolutely annoyingly! *****Then since the season is so short, we must then WAIT until Sept. 2020 — 8 MONTHS — AS OPPOSED TO THE USUAL 4 — associated with those shows offering us 20 to 22 episodes! I absolutely love “EVIL” It is the best show I’ve ever seen its totally different from any other show.
evil is our favorite show on tv we look forward to it every week, PLEASE don’t cancel it!!! Please leave it on Thursday nights at 10 pm, we LOVE Thursday nights on CBS!!!
This is one FANTASTIC SHOW! The cast has exceptional acting. The show just draws you in. I’m really not a big TV watcher, but when a show can capture my suspense I’m hooked! There has NEVER, (to my knowledge) been a show that show’s the controversy over what’s phenomena or psychological or about the real forces behind good and evil. It’s a groundbreaking show that pushes those boundaries. Well, except for the Ghost Hunting reality shows, I guess. I have grade-school children who enjoy the FAMILY sitcoms which precede Evil. The previews for Evil, which CBS runs earlier in the evening, including during Young Sheldon, are quite inappropriate and disturbing for young viewers. This is an adult series.
Feel free to run promos for Evil on Wednesday evening during the 10/9 central programming.
Plus, it’s fascinating that someone reworked the concept/premise from the classic X-Files for this series, but with a religious angle rather than science (fiction) angle. The Age of Reason has given way to the Age of Faith.
Really like the show.!!! 2 nd .best show since Mr.Mercedes on Audience TV..a really great show too!

I love this show. It’s still developing, give it a chance. It has endless possibilities for narrative development and excellent characters/actors who we need to see more of!

I love the show Evil! I hate when the show ends cuz I just can’t get enough of it! I’m so glad that it is being brought back for a 2nd season! I hope it never ever goes off.

I really love this show and how they have overtures of paranormal evil mixed in with humanities evil.
The writing is smart. The stories are interesting. But best of all, the 3 main characters have a great chemistry. I wasn’t sure about the woman, but she is perfect compliment to the 2 men.
Please, please, keep this show and add more episodes
And I’ll quit watching as much cable.
Your taking away my criminal minds, please leave us with something comparable.

Am I the only one that also likes this show a lot but is disgusted by these short seasons that cause people to have to wait for — 8 MONTHS FOR THE NEXT SEASON, and can someone tell me why this is the new normal?
