Furst Born is a new single-camera comedy in development as a pilot for CBS, and the comedy has cast its lead. Poppy Montgomery has joined the cast of this series. CBS is trying to bring the Unforgettable star to its network with this new comedy. Unforgettable was cancelled after its fourth season on A&E.
TV Line shared more details about this series and Montgomery’s role:
“The potential series, inspired by Australia’s Upper Middle Bogan, follows Montgomery’s Bess, a doctor, wife and mother of twins as she learns she was adopted and that her birth parents are a flamboyant but loving family of drag-racers. The cast also includes Swoosie Kurtz (Sisters), Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) and John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story).”
Dan O’Shannon will write and executive produce the pilot. Will you check out Furst Born? Do you want Poppy Montgomery back on CBS? Tell us what you think.
I think they should never have canceled unforgettable I’m no longer watching that network because of it they never completed the series but I love Poppy Montgomery
Walvis, I too wish they had kept Unforgettable going. I will miss her, Al, and the cast & storylines. I don’t know that I would be interested in watching this even though I DO like Poppy.
