While Game of Thrones is ending, that doesn’t mean HBO is done with the characters. Recently, network programming chief Casey Bloys discussed a possible spin-off series, Deadline reports.
During the recent TCA summer press tour, Bloys said season eight would be the last season for Game of Thrones.
When asked if there would be a spin-off, he said the creators are open to the idea:
We’ve talked about it. It’s something I’m not opposed to, but it has to make sense creatively. I’m open to it. The guys aren’t opposed to it, but there’s no concrete plans.”
Season seven of Game of Thrones debuts next summer.
What do you think? Are you a Game of Thrones fan? Would you watch a spin-off series?
