The premiere was a big improvement over what ABC had been getting in the timeslot but isn’t exactly an impressive premiere. Pan Am and The River, which will both surely be cancelled, debuted much better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like GCB TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

This show is stupid…. I hope it will be put out of its misery and will be cancelled SOON.
That’s what your remote is far. Change the channel!
GCB is a very offensive show, it saddens me that a network has to degrade Jesus and Christianity for entertainment. Yes, everyone sins, but taking holy scripture and misusing it, especially in sexual phrases is absolutely outrageous. I pray this show is taken off the air, if they must exploit sex, use another avenue.
I sure hope it doesn’t get cancelled.
I love GCB. Each show is funnier than the previous show. Hope it isn’t cancelled!
I really enjoy the show and hope it doesn’t get cancelled. It has good humor in it.
I think it’s a funny show to laugh. I like it!
I really enjoy watching this show. However, I feel like the plot is getting a little tiring. We get it, she’s a reformed highschool bully. No one believes her blah blah blah. I want something more interesting to happen.
This show is TERRIBLE! The acting is like something I would expect to see at a high school play. Whoever the teenage blonde girl is that is the daughter on the show is incredibly inept and obviously has no formal drama training. The entire show is nothing at all like Texas as everyone doesn’t look and/or act like the show portrays . No wonder no one watches the major networks any longer. Hopefully this show will be put out of its misery and will be cancelled.
So Funny!
I love Annie Potts in this role! Show is very funny, but will desperately miss Desperate Housewives!
Serously is this a freaking joke? This stupid show does not do any justice at all to desperate housewifes. I watched a few mins of it and couldnt stand it. I have no intrest in seeing it and would for it to be taken off. Give me my soaps at this time!!!!
GCB is my favorite show; also my mom’s, my daughter-in-law’s, and my aunt’s. Please keep filming and let us keep watching this cute sexy comedy.
Love it!!!
Love it! Its a riot, please keep it!
I’m a Christian and I myself don’t think this show makes fun of Christianity. This show is just a funny way to show that nobody is a saint, we all really do sin. I think this show is the only show that talks a lot about Christian faith and I know tons of people will be upset if it were to be cancelled. This show is by far my favorite of all drama-comedy series with a hint of music thanks to Kristin chenoweth. I really do hope ABC keeps this hilarious fun filled show.
