The premiere was a big improvement over what ABC had been getting in the timeslot but isn’t exactly an impressive premiere. Pan Am and The River, which will both surely be cancelled, debuted much better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like GCB TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW…PLEASE!!! It’s FABULOUS!! I would love to see more Amanda and Luke too. They are excellent together!!
Keep this show on the air because it gives American’s a real look at how these so called women really are.
It’s just a fun show. Now, if ABC renews it and starts playing with it’s airing nights, that will be the first death bell for the show…especially if it’s on Friday nights. Case in point…”Ugly Betty.” I never knew what night the show was on…they just kept moving her around.
It’s just a fun show…hope it returns.
@Chris Hanley. I’m a Christian; I’m intelligent (high IQ as well as lots of common sense); I do not chew gum. I’m also a middle class hard-working person who pays taxes. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! It shows real people living real lives – not all of us, but a specific segment. I have known people exactly like several of the ones on this series. RENEW IT! It’s the best comedy on TV today. 🙂
RENEW IT!!! It’s great!
SAVE THAT SHOW !! IT’S GOT A WITTY SIDE TO IT
My husband and I love GCB. Please do not cancel, we really enjoy this series. Unfortunately, we also really enjoyed Pan Am and The Playboy Club and they are already gone. With Desparate Housewives coming to it’s finally, really hope to at least keep GCB. Thank you
Renew it, please. It has rich TX women down perfectly. I know some TX women who act exactly like that.
DO NOT CANCEL!! This show gets funnier every week. Hilarious, in fact. I’m a GRITS girl and can relate. Slightly exaggerated, of course; that’s what makes it
funny. All you anti-GCB folks, get a grip! It’s just a television show. Laugh and enjoy it.
One joke show, and not much of a joke. Can’t see ABC renewing this for any reason but ideology. Who’s going to watch? Christians? Nope. Intellectuals? Hahaha. Gum chewers? Until they get tired of it.
If this show gets canceled i will cry! Its the show i look forward to the most. Eve
I really didn’t think i would like this show, and put off watching it for the first couple of episodes but i LOVE it actually 🙂 So funny. It’s just a all around awesome show.
renew the show. the show has enough charming characters to keep me watching. let’s find a sense of humor about ourselves, shall we? the send up of certain dallas neighborhoods certainly squares with my experience–in an slightly-exaggerated-for-comic-effect kind of way.
I absolutely LOVE this show. Last weeks was hysterical….Sharon’s “Lose weight with Jesus” stint on the Texas shopping channel made me laugh so hard I had tears running down my cheeks! Anyone who finds this show offensive needs to go out and buy a sense of humor.
