McGarrett and his team still have a job to do. CBS has renewed Hawaii Five-0 for a sixth season.
A reimagining of the original Hawaii Five-0 TV show, this police procedural series revolves around an elite state police task force that fights crime in the 50th state. The series stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Masi Oka, and Chi McBride.
Airing on Friday nights, the fifth season of Hawaii Five-0 averaged a 1.24 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.47 million viewers. That’s down by more than 12% in the key demo and it led some to suspect that the series would be cancelled this time around. Not so — the series will return next season, likely in the fall.

I think Hawaii Five O is one of the best shows that has been on television in quite a while. I LOVE THIS SHOW Please bring back and keep Katherine. I think that the relationship between Steve and Danny is just too funny. This series has some good actors on it. My kids and I Love this show. Love this show! I did like having Catherine on. We need more relationships going on. I also enjoy the comedy between Steve and Danny.
This show is the worst thing on TV, well I haven’t watched everything on TV, but this has to be the worst or at least in the top 5. I watch it on netfix from time to time just to laugh at how bad it is. From the acting to the story line. I really wish the networks would stop insulting our intelligence with these shows. Don’t cancel H50. It’s the only show I watch on CBS. The producers, cast and crew have done an amazing job in remaking this TV classic. The writing continues to be exceptional. Most COP shows become predictable and repetitive. This one is not. They have also done a superb job in fleshing out the characters personalities and relationships. In this respect it reminds me of that great ensemble show the “West Wing”. This show seems to reap of appeal to the prized 18 to 49 viewers. My family & I love this show. It’s our favorite. Great show & reminds us of our trip to Hawaii. We even watch previous seasons on Netflix over & over. Besides who doesn’t love watching Steve(Alex)!!!
Keep the show. Great mix. Tons better than with Jack Lord and James McArthur. Crime, suspense, humor and a great family show.

Please do not cancel!!! I have watched every episode. I Loved the old, old shows and I love the current one. Let some stupid show be cancelled instead of this one.
I really love this show and so does My uncle who is in his 70’s and he loves this show. I don’t understand why the demographics is only for ages 18-49 because there are people over the age of 49 that do love this show! And not everyone can always catch the show on time or have a dvr so they wait for it to air again or watch it on hulu or wait for it to be aired as a rerun.
