Marvel’s Agent Carter was cancelled by ABC earlier this month, and fans have been fighting to have Netflix pick up the series that focuses on Peggy Carter’s long career with SHIELD.
Lotte Verbeek is the actress behind Ana Jarvis, and she spoke about the cancellation of the series at MCM London Comic Con. The actress took part in a panel featuring the cast of Marvel’s Agent of SHIELD.
According to Digital Spy, she said the following:
“The fans were just amazing in supporting it and I’m sorry it got cancelled. I feel like we’re kind of letting the fans down… but it wasn’t my decision! I thought it was a really different show, in terms of… I felt like it added something to TV land, that was really fun and very Marvel, but also kind of different.”
The future of Agent Carter is still up in the air. It is still possible another service could save the series. Check out Verbeek’s comments in the video below.
