As fans have been suspecting for quite awhile, the Mike & Molly TV show is being cancelled. There won’t be a seventh season but the sixth season of 13 episodes has been scheduled to start airing on January 6th on CBS.
Co-star Rondi Reed shared the details of the cancellation in a Facebook post:
Before you hear it elsewhere (and some already have) this is the Final and 6th Season of MIKE & MOLLY on CBS. It is also a shortened season (13 episodes) after the announced full renewal of 22 episodes back in March by the network.
We are done taping as of January 27th 2016 and I am not sure exactly when/if the episodes will all be aired. The network has it’s reasons, and I will not get into a debate, discussion, or campaign to get them to change their minds.
Other venues were explored by WB and Bonanza Productions (Chuck Lorre) after CBS announced their intentions, but did not turn up a future for our show. It is a fact and we have known for a few weeks.
I remain extremely grateful to have been a part of this and to have worked with a fabulous bunch of folks over the years. I have learned a lot about many things, including the Business we call Show.
Also grateful for all the fans and for the personal support I have received over the (almost) 6 seasons. Stewart Talent has guided me every step of the way on this journey and for that I am also forever grateful.

No I would not have canceled Mike & Molly the TV series. Yes, we would watch Mike & Molly on another channel. My Husband and I watch the reruns on a couple other stations now, so we wouldn’t have a problem with watching the new ones on another channel.
One less good one because the producers are idiots. Way to go get rid of a good show make room for another 70 remake because they have no talent writers they write 98 % junk anymore.

They finally get a good show because there’s hardly anything good on TV anymore and they’re canceling it does not make sense this show is so funny and I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like it it’s just unbelievable that is being canceled very upset
I can believe that one of he most funny, relatable and enjoyable sitcom has been cancelled! I think that the HORRIBLE Two Broke Girls should have been cancelled years ago!! Cancel that one and bring back Mike & Molly!!!!
Few shows are as balanced as this one. I love every skit, every actor and actress. There is no leading role here when it comes to comedy. They are all great. I would love another season!
There are not many good sitcoms Mike & Molly and Big Bang are the only reason we even turn on CBS. Now for a ridiculous reason your are cancelling one of the best shows in ages. You are being really petty . The whole cast is great is realistic ,hysterical, and I waited so long for it to come back. I guess you dont mind loosing viewers. . We are not Happy, Bring it back!!!

We want Mike and Molly to stay on TV please go to another network, the cast is so good together haven’t enjoyed a sitcom this much since Everybody Loves Raymond, M & M deserves to tell it’s complete story, you don’t need CBS, they want to charge to use their app so you can tell thyre all about money
