We may not know the day, but now we know the time. Vulture reports the Netflix reboot of One Day at a Time will premiere in January.
The original Norman Lear series starred Bonnie Franklin as a divorced mother raising teen daughters played by Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli. The new sitcom will star Rita Moreno and center on a Cuban-American family.
At the premiere of the documentary Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You, the veteran TV producer revealed the show will debut in January:
It’s altogether different, and it’s fabulous. The talent is great. Rita Moreno! It’s going to air in January. It’s Netflix, so you make 13 before they air.”
