As expected, NBC has pulled their low-rated new series, Persons Unknown, from the Monday night line-up. Thankfully they haven’t yanked it off the air completely. They’re just moving it to the Saturday night graveyard.
Persons Unknown revolves around a group of strangers who awaken in a ghost town and are unable to leave. The cast includes Chadwick Boseman, Lee Purcell, Jason Wiles, Andy Greenfield, Daisy Betts, Tina Holmes, Alan Ruck, Kate Lang Johnson, Sean O’Bryan, and Gerald Kyd.
The TV show has been performing very poorly so July 5th will be its last Monday night airing. Beginning July 17th, it will show up on NBC’s Saturday night schedule instead.
The Visa Gymnastics Championships will preempt the show on August 14th. Otherwise, it looks like Persons Unknown will run uninterrupted and conclude with episode 13 on September 4th. Producers have maintained that the final episode will properly wrap the series.

If by chance NBC pulls the low-rated show off the air before all of the episodes have aired, fans can take solace in the fact that they’re already scheduled to be released on DVD. Right now, the Persons Unknown: Season One
NBC has promoted Persons Unknown as a mini-series and, since it’s gotten poor ratings, there’s virtually no chance that it will return to the peacock network for another round.
However, the series was initially produced for international buyers and the studios could decide to make another season, presumably with a new mystery and group of people. The decision to call the forthcoming DVD set “season one” and not “the complete series” seems to support that possibility.

Finally! A show on NBC that I like…but what’s this? You’re considering tossing it?
Consider this….you’ve lost viewers because you don’t air anything we want to see. Then you get a show that will draw us in but you don’t give it enough advertising or time to make people realize it’s there. How do you expect your viewers (or would be viewers) to support your network of you don’t give us squat to support?
Give Persons Unknown another season, the good ones always take more buzz to roll.

There are few shows on regular TV worth watching and Persons Unkown was my reason to watch. NBC needs to give this another chance pick a better day and time.
I love this show …. what is the matter with you people? All we seem to get is dumb reality shows that are easy to produce and STUPID. I refuse to watch TV when that’s all that’s on. Bring THIS ONE BACK!!

The stupid series get all the promo and premo spots and something that makes you use your gray matter gets thrown away………….NBC Sucks.
Hi, I was really bored today, so I went on to the “demand” channel and spotted a show called “persons unknown”. I just finish watching five episodes which is all they were playing. I liked it so much that I jumped on the internet to see when and where I can watch this network TV series (I never watch local channels anymore) but I sure would watch this show and then I get to read that NBC is canceling what a bunch of idiots.
We still don’t know the purpose of “The Program” ????
Now come on the very last episode shows our beloved group getting out of the elevator onto the deck of a massive old spooky ship with the words Ship of Lost Souls in Spanish written on it…………………..that is the end?
No this series wasn’t tied up nicely and all my questions weren’t answered.

TPTB didn’t even give this show a chance. I just now found out about it. I rarely watch TV and when something good comes along – they yank it.
Networks always cancel the best shows and leave us with a bunch of stupid sit-coms and reality shows, this was a real good drama show , good for a Saturday nite, when there is nothing else good to watch. bring it back for at least for more season
i love the show…it reminds me of lost…i hope it continues.
This was one of the few shows we would watch on NBC. We are so disappointed they are not keeping this one.

i have watch from day one and i like it so much u made afinali with hopes of coming back they should give it one more season then really end it dont leave us hanging
NBC don’t cancel this show. They have to make more seasons of it! It was new this last season so people didn’t really know about it, but man would it take off like crazy if they bring it back. I know so many people who hosted Persons Unknow parties and everyone would get together to watch all the episodes of season 1. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! The world and all the previous watchers need answers and to know what happens so there should DEF be another season. I LOVE THIS SHOW! And am waiting for more.
I would be sorely dissapointed if NBC dropped the ball (Again) on something, let alone this! This is my favorite new show to date. Its so suspenseful! They can’t leave me hanging!
