The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

You had me until your cruelty. The disconnected cruelty (interspecies or not) cost you this program. It also was too 1960’s with its integration hip hop. Come on. There were so many other ways to go with these interesting characters. You failed your public. You failed people who would have been devoted fans. Hog wash on tonight’s story. Bleah.
They cannot cancel star crossed! I love this show! its the best and I truly fell in love with it . if they cancel it I will never use the cw again ! they have cancel to many shows that I love

If this show is cancelled then it’s really going to suck. I even got my mom into it. Which, for my mom, that’s rare. Not many people know about it is the problem.
I think you’re making a mistake cancelling this show. Don’t get me wrong, you have Vampire Diaries etc, however they’ve dragged that on way too much, that it’s now become boring. Star-crossed was just getting good, you at least need to do a season 2 and complete the series properly. What about the viewers that are enjoying it. Stop being so greedy and consider the people that are tuning in.

Star crossed was an awesome show by far. I looked forward to Mondays just so I could watch it. Very very very upset that it won’t continue any more. Don’t understand why the viewers that did enjoy it have to suffer . Biggest let down this year.
I only watch a few show on television and this is one of them. Please don’t take off the air.

I love star-crossed, I loved watching it. My mum and sister love it to, I’m gonna record the last one and keep it so we can remember how awesome, know that’s coming from an 11
I love this show it is absolutely amazing I wait for it to come on every week I have even canceled plans to watch it, however I think it hars ot bn promoted enough not very many people know about it but it is definitely one of my favorites personally it is way better than reign or who’s line is it anyway or the tomorrow people star crossed definitely knows how to grab attention and keep it many people will be highly disappointed if it got canceled!!
