Picking up where the revival of the Roseanne sitcom left off, this series follows the extended working-class Conner family that’s led by widower Dan Conner (Goodman) and his three children Becky (Goranson), Darlene (Gilbert), and D.J. (Fishman), as well as sister-in-law, Jackie Harris (Metcalf). No matter what challenges they meet in Lanford, Illinois, the Conner family endures, thanks to their persistence, humor, and most of all — love.

I like this show but I have to say it isn’t funny enough. It has turned into a drama. I watch it because I love the characters. Roseanne & Dan were cracking jokes all the time. Goodman is an excellent actor, especially in comedy he needs more jokes. Laurie Metcalf is an awesome actress. I loved the episode where the comunity came together to help them open the Lunch Box. Please keep this show.

My family gave the show a try last season, but the spin-off is terrible.
They have a nerve calling the show The Connors . The real Connors belong with The Terminators Movies . Those Connors are way better and more interesting. I belive they came first. Wish it could become a weekly show.
Who cares about those Conners, when these have been on tv for years. Get real (I own all of the terminator movies).

Fine tuned writing, hilarious as ever. So glad to see these characters move forward with timely topics. Humorous, and intelligent, thank goodness for smart scripts. Kudos to Sara Gilbert!

The Conners Season 2 episode 1 was HORRIBLE! Stolen plots, i.e. Becky’s baby born 2 months premature stolen from season 9. Harris selling pot cookies at school, and Darlene cheating on her boyfriend with David. Way too many controversial topics thrown together in one episode. No humor whatsoever. The Conners needs to be canceled. Big mistake forcing Roseanne out.
