The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

This makes me very upset. Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People are both very great shows. They both ended at cliff hangers. Star-Crossed ended with all of the humans unconcious and the beaker sending a signal to the Atrians up in space. I want to know what happens. Do the humans and Atrians go to war? Do Roman and Emery stay together? Does Tayler and the baby die from the car reck? Do all the Atrians on Earth go back to space? It’s hard to believe you are not making a second season. The tomorrow people is one of the best series I’ve ever watched, so please, you must come up with the next season. The last episode really needs to be continued!!! I need to see Jedikiah’s intentions and plans with John, pleeeeeease!!!!

I can’t believe you would leave a cliffhanger and just let it end like this. This has been the best tv show I have ever watched and throwing it down the toilet does nit make it any better. I have watched about every tv show that has aired and this one has rated the tops. I cannot believe it has gone to waste like that.

People will love this show I got so many of my friends to watch this show on Netflix and we watch this everyday at each others house we watch the seasons over and over again that’s how much we support and love this show
