The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

This is my favorite show of all time!!! there are plenty of viewers to keep it running. i just finished season 1 on netflix and discovered the there isn’t another season. if not obvious i disagree with the tomorrow people being cancelled! thank you.

Bring the show back that’s enough viewers check out Netflix everyone watches it its. I think that it would be awesome for a second season of the tomorrow people the first season was amazing and the ending left me wordless. I can’t believe it’s over I want to know what is going to happen with John and the tomorrow people. It’s true there’s enough viewers there should be a second season!!
Started watching Netflix recently and can’t stop watching. Fantastic show, really upset that there isn’t a season 2.

i love the show i was looking forward to seasons to come…. been waiting for them for months…. i understand that the viewing population is low, but that is more than likely due to the time its being showed if it was aired on a day such as Friday (night) Saturday or Sunday it would get more views
Yes, I do think it should a second season!!. I understand that y’all are losing money and that’s fair but you also as to understand that we as loyal fans Love the show. They gave us something to do and something to look forward too. Maybe if you never switched the day it was shown the number of viewers wouldn’t have done down. I also think that you should make a second season but try to partner with Netflix or even Hulu that way people get to watch it anytime.

I just recently started watching the Tomorrow People on Netflix and fell in love with the it! I was curious about season 2 so I looked it up, but sadly I figured out that it has been cancelled. I disagree with this show being cancelled!!! Bring on season 2!!! Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion!
That’s enough viewers. You can’t just stop a show like that. You’ve lost many for the show but have lost even more for the CW now. Including me.
I love this show and not making a second season is a big mistake. Even though there aren’t that many viewers there are still enough to keep the show going.
