The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I’m very disappointed to hear there is no season 2! I just saw the series on Netflix and I thought it was great. It would be good to see the series now as super heroes righting the wrongs of the world like The Flash. Can we ever have too many super heroes?
I really liked the actors and the complexity of character in this series. In homage to his brother couldn’t Jed become the point man on the surface for the TP’s to help the world?
I really wish they would stop making great shows and canceling them. It’s really upsetting. Secret circle, star crossed and the tomorrow people.
I just found this on Netflix, saw one episode when it was on TV. It wasn’t advertised properly this show was awesome. I watched all 22 episodes in 2 days stayed up until 2am each night!!!! You go to be kidding that this isn’t coming back!!! BRING IT BACK!!!!!!

Ple ase do a season2 I don’t think the show was given enough time I was hooked immediately from day 1 everyone that I talked too was watching the show so please bring back the series!!!!

I just saw the tomorrow people on netflix it was a good series i think with one more season to answer more questions would be a amazing idea and there would be alot more viewers now that its on netflix
I love both of these series and it is heartbreaking to know that it is cancelled. I found both of them on netflix and watched the entire season of both shows in three days. Please do another season to end each of the series properly.

We need a season 2!! If CW won’t do it then put it on Netflix. See if they will buy it and put the seasons on there! This is a great show! And the way it ended we deserve a season 2. Please give it to us!

I just finished the tomorrow people on Netflix in a matter of 2 days because of what a great show it was. I am extremely upset that there’s not a second season of this terrific show. Although it resembled the show fringe in more ways then one, it was one of the best series I’ve ever seen.
Their should have been a season 2 for the tomorrow people and star crossed they were both very good tv shows and deserve to have at least another season. You can’t end the season 1 like that because it makes it seem that their will be another season and there really isnt.
There should have been a second season of The Tomorrow People and Star Crossed and a third season of The Carrie Diaries.
Hi I’m Donovan and i really liked this show its really really good. I’ve read that it was canceled because of not enough views.well I’m not trying to come at you but did you guys ever think that maby people just didn’t see it because there was no commercials or anything.
