The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I do think there should be a second season because all the people that did watch it wondering what is going to happened l can’t wait until the next episode comes so I will know whats wrong with John and if Cora will get better so please make other season. maybe if u make another season you’ll get more viewers to wacht the show

I am so disappointed I really liked both shows and I didn’t start watching both of them till they were on Netfix and I went online to find out if there was going to be a second season and they said it was canceled but the ratings were at a 8.3/10 for the tomorrow people I don’t know about you but that was pretty high and for star crossed it was at 8.6/10 I totally think they should reconsider they choice that they made I think they both had great story lines
not happy jan!! absolutely loved the tomorrow people and with the way it ended was ridiculous! could have at least killed it off properly instead of getting hopes up waiting for the next piece

If you won’t air another episode due to you not making as much money, I would at least like to know how this story ends.

thats terrible that they are not showing a second season. i just got done watching it on Netflix, and especially with how they ended the “finale”, there is too much that is left hanging versus being wrapped up. they need to have at least a mini season 2

I started the tomorrow people on Netflix a week ago and was so excited for season 2. Please have a season 2, there’s so many questions and the build up is there for another season. You can’t just end it. There needs to be some happy ending or something!

I’ve recently started watching The Tomorrow People on Netflix and got hooked to it . I really hate that people keep canceling shows ! This was an awesome TV series and I think there should be a season 2!

The tomorrow people was a great show. Couldn’t wait to get home from work to continue watching the series on Netflix. I’m honestly upset that they didn’t make a season 2. Please bring back the show. Who don’t want to watch a show based off “jumpers” with even more powers lol
