The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Never heard of this show before but it came up as a recommendation on Netflix, I fell in love!… Can not believe there was only one season. I think the marketing for this show was not very good because no one ever heard of it. The CW has a lot of shows geared towards teenagers but the watch shows on Netflix, you tube, etc. and I think that’s why they are doing so poorly in ratings. They need to really beef up marketing and renew some of there cancelled shows
Lots of people don’t even have cable anymore and wait tell things come on Netflix. I watched the whole thing on Netflix and I’m pissed their isn’t going to be more. What’s the point in putting it on Netflix if it’s only going to have one season

BEYOND frustrated that this show was not continued. Literally watched all 22 episodes in a matter of 2 days. I could NOT stop watching until the end and I’m dying for more! No joke, I was watching the dang show from the back of my horse at a rodeo.. Does that not say enough? lol. I’m addicted! And there’s no more? Heart-breaking. Honestly! How can they leave us hanging like this?! The end was set up perfect for another season. WHERE’S IT AT?!

I wish the tomorrow people wasn’t cancelled. I just finished watching the first season on Netflix and was disappointed to see that the would not continue the show. The show is a great show in my opinion, if the cw would have promoted it better it would have gotten more views.
I wood love for there to be more than one season like 2seasons 3 seasons 4 seasons…….. Up to 10 seasons at least

This was a great tv show, and I am heart broken that their won’t be another season. I think that they should definitely make another season and if they don’t put it on air they should at least put it on netflix. By far one of my favorite tv shows.
