The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I don’t understand how you can end a season with John during back to paranormal, and is now going to have to hunt the people whom he loved but does not remember. How can you end a show with and having to hunt them down and not show that in the next season. They did the same thing with the Secret Circle if anybody remember that show. I dont get how they can cancel a show like this. The tomorrow people was one of the best shows i have ever seen. They need to start keeping the good series and get rid of the old ones.

I still haven’t finished season 1 but i really liked the serie and so did my friends. So can there be a season 2 ? I’m already attached to it and there is so much suspense !!! Pleaseeeee i think its obviouse that everybody liked it ♥♥

I just finished watching season 1 on Netflix, then I see that the show has been cancelled?! How could they stop a good story like this one? It makes me very sad.
well i am a bit late but i just finished tomorrow people’s season 1 (online) and i am sad that i will not be able to see more of it…I am also really confused about this decision because the first season created strong foundations for a very succesfull season 2 and even 3 :/ …
This sucks all good shows are being canceled and I am so tired of waiting for them to come there senses and bring the shows back!
I just finished watching The Tomarrow People on nexfix and it was great. I couldn’t put my iPad down. Why can’t they at least keep it going on nexfix. I really can’t wait to see what happens next. This is a show and I really enjoy watching. I really hope it comes back.
My question is why do they cancel the good shows that have so much more that they can do with them. They leave amazing shows with a great story line and just give up on them. I loved The Tomorrow People and I think that it was left at a great place to continue. I’m just sorry to see another great story die before it is finished.

Its rediculous the fact that all good shows get canceled… like heros.. now this too… this show had me constantly stayin up late watching episode after episode… it is a really good show and id like to see what Jed and john have in store for the tmrw ppl!!! Love the show!!! Bring it back!!
