The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I tried watching during the week but the times weren’t convenient but since it made it to Netflix I’m hooked and love the show. I think it’s a big mistake to cancel!!! I feel you made a big mistake canceling this show . BRING IT BACK
I have watched the enntire season and when I heard that the show got canceled, I was heartbroken and sorry that it got canceled but Id like to know what happened after that
The tomorrow people was an awesome show I didnt even know this show was out on CW I just seen the series on netflix there rating were low maybe because people didnt know about the show I didnt until now CW you making a huge mistake come back with season 2 give the show a chance man I really couldnt stop watching til the end now I mad because there wont be a season 2
Way to **** up a good show. Never ****** fails. What is wrong with the world we live in? Why do shows this good get taken of the air and **** ass reality tv shows like jersey shore get 5 or better season? You know what ur entertained by is a sign of ur intelligence. So no good tv shows for us but tons of **** for the unimaginative mindless masses. People are so lucky i don’t have super powers omfg i swear!

Netflix should help pay for season 2
I think Netflix could benefit from such a good show as this. From what I can tell, people are starting to cancel their TV providers and go with Netflix or Hulu Plus. There are so many good shows that are Netflix originals such as “Orange is the New Black,” “Hemlock Grove” and even silly spin offs such as “Mako Mermaids.” I just finished season one of this show in about 2 days. I don’t get Tv so I watched it on Netflex …..myself and 2 friends watched the whole series this last weekend. It was awesome we could not stop we had to watch it to the last episode and we were so hoping to see season 2…..but of course something good and it is taken off, but these stupid reality show they keep on….

Just finished the first season on Netflix and I’m extremely sad that such a great show has been cancelled so quickly. Especially since the last episode left cliffhangers to whether or not Cara and Stephen are involved with each other or not and to what happens with John. What do we need to do to get this show put back on the air???
