The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

This was a GREAT show. Very different from other paranormal shows the CW puts out. Definitely different with great actors. Vampires, etc. will wear out the intringue one day. Maybe something like The Tomorrow People can make a comeback!

The Tomorrow People was awesome. I believe there were you many interruptions during shows which makes ity difficult for people to pick a sore back up. And changing the day off week it’s on is confusing. Pick a day and stick to it and a time slot! What fun is chasing a show?
I agree completely! That is why viewers drop off. It happens a lot and then I miss the rest of the season. Quit moving from one night to another. I’m tired of vampires, werewolves, etc. CW comes up with something different and cool, then cancels it. Wrong!
I just watched all of session 1 & now im ready for session 2..the older brother with powers is guna be awesome. Just send me the next session to watch and I’ll let u know if its good or not..lol

I’m hooked on this show. I just started watching it on netflix and its so addicting. Please please bring it back. Look at how many people are so heartbroken on the show being cancelled. Weather you put it back on tv or on Netflix for a second season do it. You will make many people much happier when it comes back on. If you advertise it better on tv maybe more viewers will watch bc it’s very entertaining and drama series. I would like it to come back.
I wasn’t able to watch it until it got on Netflix and its AMAZING! I’m disappointed they are cancelling the show. It has so much potential to continue!!!

I live this show I was heart broken when they cancelled it I really loved it and I want it to come back for another season or 7 or 8 I would anything to see the next parts
