The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Please don’t cancel! I just started watching it on Netflix and am obsessed with it! I’m on episode 21 and only have the last episode to watch and I don’t want to stop watching! Bring it back this year please!!! I’m loving it! 🙁

Like a lot of people these days, I don’t have much time for regular tv. I watch most of my tv thrunetflix and I have to say this show is amazing. I just finished all 22 episodes and I was eager to see when next season would be uploaded. Needless to say I’m very disappointed, amazing show with so much potential.
You have got to stop canceling good show you have let so many good ones go i am almost tried of watching you bring the tomorrow people back

They shouldn’t of canceled it. I feel in love with they characters throughout the story line. They ending left a huge opening in which could of led to so many oppertunities I wanted to see the best friend hook up lol. Always the good series fall.
I enjoyed this show and thought it had considerable potential. I’m sorry the bean counters didn’t agree.
There should be a second season of The Tomorrow People.
I really wish they would do another season. They left it off with the possibility of going just about anywhere with the next season. it was an awesome show that should have been kept on.
