The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

This show was so cool I really wanted a new seson to come on but it happens a lot well with shows lose viewers I really want the to have another seson that would be cool!!
I just finished watching this and I can’t believe that they cancelled it. I found it on netflix and didn’t know anything about it before but if I would have seen previews for this show I would have definitely watched it when it came out on TV. They need to have better advertising and that is that, bring the show back! Season 1 left us hanging we want more!
Bring the tomorrow people back, the story line was perfect and the way it ended cant just be dropped off and put to its grave from bad view ratings!! I watched the first season on Netflix and not being able to ever watch the second season enrages me! I don’t know how much accreditation this site has but I really hope that it gets reconsidered to bringing the tomorrow people back!! Great show, one of now my number one favorites! We need to see this story through!!
I just started to watch this series on netflix and I loved it. When I looked up about season to and found it was cancelled I was so devastated. I love the show so much and ill miss it alot. Theirs so many people watching it and want to see more. Please think about a new season please.

I love this new series. I didn’t know when it was airing last season and could not catch-up with the season because it was not on Xfinity. I think the low ratings were because people could not find it and could not catch up without buying episodes. With a series like this you want to see the pilot and we already pay over a hundred dollars a month in cable fees, we weren’t going to pay to watch them. A new season would be great. It was an awesome show……. I wish they would make season 2 as well. I just watch season one in a day and a half on Netflix. So disappointed now I know that season 2 is cancelled.

They shouldn’t have cancelled it. It was an amazing show. Just think of firefly it got cancelled after just one season and now it has a huge follow. So if you ask me they should definitely renew it.
The fact that this was cancelled only after a season because of bad advertisement, the result of the low view count, is astounding. The show was absolutely great but just didn’t have the things to get it out there properly. With the amount of support I’ve seen just by reading some of these comments, all the show needed was that extra advertisement in well known streaming sites, hence the sudden support of the show from netflix.
