Last week, after two disappointing airings, CBS pulled How to Be a Gentleman from the Thursday night line-up and sent it to Saturdays. They subsequently shut down production after nine episodes and cancelled the show.
Episode three aired last Saturday to a meager 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.43 million total viewers. It was the lowest-rated original program of the evening and represented a week-to-week loss of 36% when compared to a repeat of 2 Broke Girls seven days earlier.
CBS has now pulled Gentleman from the schedule once again. For the immediate future, the timeslot will be filled by repeats of Mike & Molly (October 22nd) and How I Met Your Mother (October 29th).
There’s no word on when or if CBS will release the six unaired installments of Gentleman.
What do you think? Are you sorry that How to Be a Gentleman’s been pulled once again? Would you consider purchasing episodes or a small DVD set?

i thought the last episode was the funniest. it wasnt a great show, but i thought it was improving. it prob could do good on a crap network like cw or nbc
NBS CRAP CANCEL ALL THE GOOD SHOWS AN GIVE US THIS GARBAGE IM DONE WITH NBC
You know you are in trouble when you can’t beat the ratings of reruns. Of course, most shows on TV can’t beat the ratings of CBS’s reruns.
I thought it was somewhat decent. If they already have completed episodes, why not just dump them on a Saturday night?! I hate when they air reruns instead of new episodes of shows that have just sitting there!
No, I wouldn’t buy it on DVD. It had *potential*, but I didn’t see anything that makes me feel like I have to see the unaired eps.
The actors are great, the vehicle is wrong.
I never saw it but sorry guys.
