Human Target: Petition and Ways to Support the FOX TV Show

Human Target TV showChristopher Chance (Mark Valley) finds himself in a lot of dangerous situations but always manages to get out of them safely. His show may not be so lucky. It hasn’t been a big hit in the ratings so it looks very likely that Human Target will be cancelled.

What can you do? Remember, the ideal scenario for FOX is for many millions of people to watch the show on their television sets, while it’s being broadcast. Unfortunately, ratings are put together based on a sampling of viewers. If you’re a “Nielsen household,” your viewing is being counted. If not, it’s not.

However, if you like Human Target and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help.

  1. If you’re a Nielsen family, watch the show whenever it’s on. If not, watch it on FOX.com or purchase episodes online so your viewing will be directly counted. Encourage others to watch the show. You might know a Nielsen family and not be aware of it.
  1. Talk about the show with others; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show that you’re invested in gets other people interested and might help bring former viewers back.
  1. Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
  1. Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue. You can e-mail or, even better, write via “snail-mail” to: Mr. Kevin Reilly, President, FOX, P.O. Box 900, Beverly Hills, CA 90213-0900, RE: Human Target
  1. Take note of the products that are advertised during the show. Write the advertisers and tell them that you appreciate their sponsoring the show and that you buy their products (if you do).

    I can't believe I'm actually writing this because I know it won't make a difference, but I just feel the need to vent. Of all the shows my family enjoys/enjoyed Human Target is still the one we miss the most. After all this time we will randomly say "I can't believe they cancelled Human Target" The casting was brilliant, the story lines easy to follow but not boring. If there is one show we would LOVE to see return it would definitely be this one.....can't believe it's off the air.....

    Seriously, we need Human Target back. All others shows suck by comparison. If not, could you create a spin off about Gurrero? His character was the best and most fascinating.

    Just watched season one shows one through four and REALLY enjoyed them! Netflex has all of seaon one, but I cannot locate all of season two. So disappointing... would love to see a season three for this. Until this pastfew years never explored past the ABC, CBS, and NBC programing. What a loss for us and much catching up to do.

    Came across Human Target when it was shown on Fox Asia this year. Love love love the show. Just like in US, we're sick and tired of mindless imported reality shows aired in the Philippines. If its still possible, please give the show another chance.

    to whom it may concern please Bring back "Human Target" this show was one of the most watched shows in my home and I was very upset of the canceling of this show; I enjoyed the actors as well as the sponsors supporting this show. I recently did a search of the upcoming 2012-2013 tv season and I must admit there is not a one show in that schedule that I will tune in to watch on any network, this would be a perfect opportunity to bring back "Human Target" believe me anyone and everyone who make these tough decisions this would be a great "opportunity" for any network to have this show with what is coming in the very near future. just to give an idea of one of my favorite current show as of June 8,2012 it is "Person of Interest" I know where me and my family will be on Thursday's this upcoming fall I wish I can add "human Target" back on this list.. thank you very much.. hope this goes noticed. a former fan for now...

    In a sea of sad sitcoms, endless reality shows that are ridiculous, FINALLY along came HUMAN TARGET! It was original, unusual, with great actors, mind blowing plot twists, a true hero and a true damsel in distress----the writing and acting was amazing! It was like going to see a really good movie in the movie theaters--it was a pleasure to wait for it weekly something to look forward to...and then it was cancelled! Now why would a network do a dumb thing like that without trying to move it around without finding a better time slot???? The other thing is this...if the neilson rating is such an unreliable way to judge how many people are truly watching why not find a more accurate method???How about installing a device in all tv's at the factory that can be tracked whenever to determine how many people are really and accurately tuning in to a program......its a shame, even my little girl of 6 loved CHANCE and still misses him (and all his conflicts) like I do======please bring him and Human Target back!

    PLEASE Think about a 3rd Season! In a sea of endless cop show clones Human Target was pretty unique; Spectacular Action without gruesome violence (very rare these days), a great team dynamic, good plots & plenty of humour & emotion. Plus of course the great visuals Certainly harks back to the days of Miami vice & 80s shows but with a more up to date feel with true edge Most enjoyable show I've seen for years. Only just come across it here in the UK so potential for another untapped audience of fans Bring on the Epic return of Human Target!

    NO, NO, NO you should not have canceled Human Target it was a GREAT show that I watched on a regular base it was intelligent unlike most of your Fox show it made sense.

    I've been waiting for Hard Target to come back on only to find out that it was cancelled. The last season left us hanging, do Chance and Ms. Pucci get together, really together? If so, then what, if not, then what? Guerrero has a unique past that brings another chapter within the show itself. I set my DVR to record this series before I even knew what it was truly about! Me, my wife, our neighbors across the street, not to mention my Grandma, who doesn't watch T.V. at all until the Human Target aired all think its time to bring it back! It is a great show, just find the right time slot and plug it back in, the ratings will confirm it! I hope you can see that!

    Really got into this show, and I know quite a few others as well. I was waiting for the new season, always checking the DVR, thinking maybe I missed the previews. VERY disappointed to find out that it had been cancelled. Definitely needs to be brought back!!!

    I have been waiting impatiently for Human Target to start a new season. I am not a big television watcher, but I love action shows and this program certainly provided it. In desperation, I finally went to the Internet to find out the status of the show and was distressed to discover that it is most likely cancelled. The story lines were compelling and the star of the show was amazing. Human Target reminds me of my new favorite show, "Person of Interest". I am a big fan of the whole production, but it pales in comparison to Human Target. Chance is a much more interesting main character and although the story lines were very serious, I appreciated the clever use of humor throughout the show. Business is business, but from an entirely selfish standpoint, I really, really miss this series.

    Human Target is the best show i have seen for a very long time it has action it has humour it has everything that a show should . The actors are all brillient they work well together there timing is brilient funny mind blowing , why would you want to loose a show like this . Please pleaes dont axe it

    I didn't watch Human Target until the last half of of the second season, only because I had been watching something else and didn't know it existed. By chance I happened to see one episode and realized it was the best show of that type on TV. In my area, it came on at 8PM. I believe it would have done much better showing it an hour earlier, although, to me it didn't make any difference. It's difficult to get anyone to look at something new once they get hooked on something else because they won't even try to watch it. For my self, the name of a show has a lot to do with my choice of shows to watch. Often the name of a show puts a slightly negative image in my mind. I wouldn't watch NCIS for the first three seasons because it made me mad when I saw Mark Harmon slap Michael Weatherly from behind. If a boss of mine did that to me, I'd warn him once and if it happened again, he'd get slapped back hard. I wouldn't watch that show for 3 seasons because of that commercial. NCIS is now my favorite show, but I'd give it up for Human Target. S. Schultz

    Human Target was a entertaining show that should not have been canceled. The show was not on every week there were to many breaks. "new episode in two weeks". It couldn't gain momentum. No one knew when it would be on, I only knew because of the dvr. Give it another chance.

    please bring back humant target, iv watched both sereis 3 times now, really want more guerrero, atleast give the guy a spin off show, great great show, shame the ppl at foz dont actually care what viewers want, reality tv is far easier to make for them i guess

    i CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL HUMAN TARGET. IT WAS THE BEST SHOW YOU HAD TO OFFER. I HOPE THAT YOU WILL RECONSIDER AND BRING IT BACK FOR A 3RD EPISODE
