Your survey is off. Your numbers will be off because of demographics. Younger watchers interested in one type of programming eg. FWBL ,SC or TBGIRLS are more likely to watch on an alternative source of media (many of which are pay services and support the networks) while older watchers more likely to be interested in Castle or DWTS would watch live. This bumps the “ratings” of these programs. The problem is not with the “rating” of either set of programs as both appear to have healthy audiences. The problem lies with the the way that the rating is being done. You are measuring a 2014 population with a 20 year old meter.

I’m pretty sure you didn’t mean ‘Friends with Benefits’ in the title of this news ;-)
