Are you read to say goodbye to Adventure Time? Today, Cartoon Network released the premiere date and clips from the TV show’s series finale.

Created by Pendleton Ward, the animated series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn and his dog, Jake. The voice cast includes Jeremy Shada, John DiMaggio, Hynden Walch, and Niki Yang. Earlier this year, Cartoon Network announced the show will end in 2018 after 10 seasons.

The series finale of Adventure Time will premiere on Cartoon Network on September 3rd at 6 p.m. ET/PT. Adventure Time: The Final Seasons DVD (Seasons eight, nine, and 10) will hit shelves the following day, on Tuesday, September 4.

At San Diego Comic-Con, CinemaBlend reports EP Adam Muto said the ending will hopefully be satisfying for fans:

It’s everything you want, except for the people who don’t want the things that we wanted. Endings are really hard, especially now when a show ends, there’s so much pressure and expectations. There has to be so many things. You can kind of go crazy trying to incorporate all that. I feel like we found an ending that is satisfying without trying to answer every single question.”
