Is Agent Carter over? Deadline reports that the ABC Marvel series star, Hayley Atwell, has been cast as the lead in another drama for the network called Conviction.
Season two of Agent Carter premiered on January 19th.
In Conviction, Atwell will play Carter Morrison, “the brilliant but ne’er-do-well daughter of a former President, who is blackmailed into taking a job as the head of Los Angeles’ newly created Conviction Integrity Unit.” Morrison and a team of experts will investigate possible wrongful convictions. The series comes from Jessica Jones executive producer Liz Friedman and Liz Friedlander.
But if Atwell is playing Carter on Conviction, what happens to Agent Carter? So far, season two of the series has been pulling in low ratings, with an average viewership of 2.97 million. Compare that to the season one average of 5.02 million viewers.
However, even if Agent Carter is not cancelled, sources say Atwell can star in both series, since Agent Carter is a limited series and Conviction could be also.

Agent Carter is one of the best written, acted, & produced shows on network TV! ABC screwed up the premiere date, which didn’t help matters. Then just look what they first put it up against! It had no chance for a stand-out season premiere. I’ve seen every episode, & loved them all! Keep Agent Carter on ABC. Don’t be stupid. Know a good thing.

Good, as enjoyable as the show has been I prefer Agents of Shield and I hate that it’s had to share it’s fall schedule for the past two season. Carter should have been a summer series it probably would have done better there.
Agent Carter is a great show. Lots of fun and killer set dec. Don’t even get me started on how much I covet Peggy’s wardrobe. Why are all the period dramas getting sacked (Manhattan, we will miss you).
It was crap, I couldn’t even watch it through the first episode it was just so typical cartoonish superhero crap. I hope they do cancel it it’s not worth watching. With so many superhero type of TV shows it’s getting totally boring.!
They seem to always kill the programs that are liked, but keep junk on like The KarTRASHians. Why even bother making new shows if they tend to kill them?
It’s all about advertisement, if advertisement companies don’t like it do you get rid of it. Networks are so hard up if they will do anything even good shows off the year and keep her terrible terrible shows on the air. DONT CANCEL AGENT CARTER!!! it helped people like me understand that we don’t need to be accepted by others. We need to accept ourselves! If agent Carter gets cancelled.. Well at least Peggy lives on in the movies.

There will be a funeral scene for her.
Hopefully they will keep showing her in Flashbacks!!

No cancel the show. We got plenty of comic book tv shows like Flash, Arrow, DC Legends of Tomorrow, Shield, Gotham plus more to come like the X-Men series this fall. Carter is boring and they are just throwing some crap for season 2.
