Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
I am so disappointed that this is another good show cancelled. As soon as
You get me hooked on a decent show I find out it’s cancelled! I
Have to agree that the realitie shows are getting really rediculous! I think
The non realitie shows are more believable than the actual ones!!! So really… NBC…
Get a CLUE!!!
I guess not enough sex for prime time. My wife and I enjoy the show very much.
NBC you suck, I can not BELIEVE you are cancelling such a good show. I agree with everyone saying it is a show you can watch with your family. It has some really good life lessons about love, courage, and honesty. I’m so tired of these good shows being cancelled and the sucky reality or tv shows all about sex remaining. I am done with your network!!!
Thank you Deanna, you said what I didn’t have guts enough to say. I get tired of the sex on shows, daytime and evening. It is so hard to live a good Christian life these days and then the TV producers go and cancel a good show that is very much family oriented. That’s my opinion.
I really enjoyed this show – it was unusual and thrilling and I was enjoying the ride with Tate and Bo, why is it being cancelled? It was on such a short time! I wasn’t given a chance!
Belive is a great show. We do not wan’t it to be canceled. It’s a show about love, family, second chances and so much more. NBC is wrong for cancelling it and not giving it a chance they should have promoted it more, give it consistently and not on diferent days, if more people knew about it I’m sure they would love it as much as my family and I do…
Believe is the best show on and should not be cancelled! It is my choice over all the other “____” shows that are on. Anymore I’m as likely just to turn the TV off as to watch some of the stuff they are showing. Believe can be viewed by the whole family and it really pulls me into it. Maybe it is one of those things where the silent majority should be speaking up. I just couldn’t believe last night when they said the series finale would be in two weeks. I think they should reconsider for at least another… Read more »
Bad decision!! Just wish the networks were willing to give shows a chance to build a following.
Bad decision!!
Believe is the only NBC show that I watch. I guess I’m
about done with NBC. It would be very cool if another
network picked it up. SyFy maybe ???
Edward, I agree with you about Believe being a cool show and having another network pick it up. However, SyFy is not a good network to switch it to because SyFy is JUST AS BAD AT CANCELLING GOOD SHOW as NBC IS!!! Now may CBS should pickup Believe because they’ve kept NCIS on for 12 seasons as of March 13, 2014? CBS believes in giving their series a chance. Look how long NCIS Los Angeles has been on, and I don’t like that one since it started. And Believe is a far better show than NCIS Los Angeles is. So,… Read more »
I am really upset that Believe has been cancelled. Seems to me like the good ones get cancelled and the other ones stay on. I am not into the survivor shows or the others like them. The show has just started believe there are some good story lines here. Will miss Bo and Tate
It is such a shame when an excellent show is cancelled and the really stupid ones remain, most reality shows.
The story line is different and sometimes we have to really pay attention, this keeps our brain working. The networks should listen to the people watching, and give the first season a chance. My two Granddaughters ages 18 and 15 really like this show.
It really angers me that you would cancel a series like this.My girls and I ; as well as my husband; look forward to this show every Sunday.Alot of times we end up watching it the next day because of out tight scheduling..But we have it set to record and NEVER miss an episode. We Love Tate; and Bo.Did ya ever stop to think to MABEY put it on EARLIER; or try a different night???..Truly going to miss THIS show
Loved the show. Actually one I could watch with my daughter. Networks keeps canceling all the good shows because they are scared to really see things through. The first seasons are almost always rough since starting a story, but the longer they go on the better or greater the outcome. Changing time slots help too. This one would be a good one for earlier. There are too much stupid reality or contest shows that people are becoming dumbed down by reality antic. I rather watch a smart show than a stupid people one!
Believe is an exceptional show. Please give this show a chance to build an audience. It’s refreshing and new. The same thing happened to the show Touch. There are people watching that aren’t Nielsen families rating this show. Take a poll and ask therest of us how we feel about the show
This is so sad that we won’t be able to follow Bo & Tate through their adventures.
I really like this show and am upset that it was cancelled.
We are very upset that the show has been canceled, we love the actors and maybe you should try to save the show somehow. It’s a great story. Boo boo bad form!
Don’t take it off. We love it
