Last week, FOX decided to pull Ben and Kate from the schedule with no immediate plans to bring it back. One of the co-stars and the show’s creator indicated that the sitcom had been cancelled.
On Friday, production on Ben and Kate was shut down for good. The network had ordered 19 episodes but only 15 of them have been produced. FOX has aired 13 installments and it’s unclear if or when the final two will air.
Ben and Kate revolves around a dreamer brother (Nat Faxon) who moves in his practical single mother sister (Dakota Johnson). The rest of the cast includes Lucy Punch, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, and Echo Kellum.
The series debuted in October to a 2.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.21 million viewers. The ratings fell in subsequent weeks, hitting a low of a 1.1 rating in the demo and 2.2 million.
What do you think? Are you hoping that FOX will air the final two episodes of Ben and Kate?

My 18 yr old daughter and I love this show and are sad to see it cancelled. Of course we want to see all episodes. Lucy Punch’s scene where she was demonstrating the geographic variances in the English accent was genius!
