Code Black is making big changes for season two, and the fans were very vocal after the changes were announced. The creator of the CBS series went on Twitter to talk to fans after he received several messages on the service about the changes.
Michael Seitzman said the changes suck, but he asked the fans to give him the chance to show them the changes will work. According to TV Line, he said, “No answer I give will be satisfying…. It sucks. Nobody — nobody — enjoyed this. Decisions like this aren’t easy and are very complex.”
The creator also revealed that the series will return on September 21. This could change as the date approaches. CBS has also ordered a full 22-episode season.
He also said the following about the new arrivals planned to join for the second season:
“Most of the cast is still here. And I’m going to work hard to make you love the newbies.”

PLLEEEAASSEEE DO NOT cancel Code Black!! It is one of my favorite shows. My adult son also likes it. It’s exciting, has multiple story lines and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Not fond of some of the casting changes, but I can live with those as long as you don’t go crazy and change the main characets. Their personalities really help male the show. Today is February 23rd and I’m about to go into withdrawal. HURRY BACK!!!
Code Black is one of the best ER shows ever. Would hate to see it cancelled
hope u won”t cancel code black I love that show
