Code Black finished it second season last month, but CBS has still not announced if it will return for another season or not. What do you think? Would you watch a third season of the TV series?
A medical drama, Code Black takes place in a Los Angeles ER plagued by a staggering influx of patients that often outweighs the limited resources available to the devoted doctors and nurses who work there. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Rob Lowe, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Harry Ford, Luis Guzman, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Boris Kodjoe, and Jillian Murray.
Despite the addition of Rob Lowe to the cast, season two of Code Black dipped in the ratings. The season averaged a 0.97 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 5.984 million viewers, placing it in the bottom half of CBS‘ 2016-2017 series. For comparison, season one averaged a 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.11 million viewers.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Code Black, I think it is punchy & portrays emergency care well & the stories are good. I used to work as a critical care nurse so this is high praise from me! Why do the studios have to cancel series when the audience is out there wanting to watch them?

Please do not cancel code black, it is a great show. I look forward to watching it every week. I don’t get to watch a lot of t.v. In my opinion it is one of the best shows on t.v. !!!! I will keep watching as long as you keep making new seasons! !!!!!
Code Black is the best series to ever be on tv. I’m in the medical field myself and this is the closest thing ever to real life. Other medical series are so far from actuality compared to code black.
