Code Black finished it second season last month, but CBS has still not announced if it will return for another season or not. What do you think? Would you watch a third season of the TV series?
A medical drama, Code Black takes place in a Los Angeles ER plagued by a staggering influx of patients that often outweighs the limited resources available to the devoted doctors and nurses who work there. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Rob Lowe, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Harry Ford, Luis Guzman, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Boris Kodjoe, and Jillian Murray.
Despite the addition of Rob Lowe to the cast, season two of Code Black dipped in the ratings. The season averaged a 0.97 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 5.984 million viewers, placing it in the bottom half of CBS‘ 2016-2017 series. For comparison, season one averaged a 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.11 million viewers.

You don’t get any better than Marcia Gay Harden. And the addition of Rob Lowe was outstanding. Even considering dropping this show is a huge mistake.
Definitely one of my favorite shows. It’s very compelling and well done.

Keep this great show or lose the entire evening for me. Gets pretty complicated at times and lose the ‘intubation’ order for so many patients. More, please.

Hoping for a third season. I really love the show!
One of only a handful of network series shows that I record faithfully and watch more than once. A first-class script every week, beautifully produced by the outstanding Kayla Alpert, marvelous casting and sophisticated characterizations.

Please bring it back. I really enjoyed the show with it’s compassion and humanity. I think Rob Lowe was a good add to the cast. I either watch or record it every week. Please do a season 3.
